Our venue and facilities

Welcome to the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC), Queensland’s leading equestrian venue! QSEC has one of Australia’s largest covered sand arenas, complete with premium lighting and state-of-the-art audio facilities.

We host a range of equestrian events, from competitions to international showcases, all with ringside dining and VIP functions.

Since 2011, we’ve proudly welcomed renowned equestrians including Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester, Ian Francis, Clinton Anderson, Monty Roberts, Pat and Linda Parelli, Steffan Peters, Heath Ryan, Double Dan Horsemanship and more!

Our venue has:

• an 80 metre x 40 metre covered sand arena with seating for 3,190 people, full lighting and audio
• a 64 metre x 59 metre covered sand arena with full lighting and audio
• 4 outdoor sand dressage arenas with covered viewing areas
• 154 stables with anti-slip rubber matting
• 12 wash bays
• 57 powered campsites
• unpowered campsites
• amenities block and camp kitchen
• two meeting/training rooms
• a licensed bar and function area
• food and beverage services.
