Queensland Reining Horse Association State Show

The Queensland Reining Horse Association (QRHA) State Show is coming to the QSEC Arena in Caboolture. Get ready to witness some of Queensland’s top reining riders in action as they showcase their skills.

Reining is a thrilling Western riding sport in which horse and rider perform precise patterns. These include high-speed spins, sliding stops, and fast work. Judges will score horses and riders on responsiveness, athletic ability, smoothness, and precision. It’s seriously impressive to watch! 

Throughout the week, you'll see a range of events with divisions for juniors, youth, para, amateurs, rookies, and pro-level riders. 

Don’t miss the State Show’s big day on Saturday, 19 April! The main event starts at 3:30 PM with a Welcome Ceremony, followed by the exciting Derby events, a crowd favourite! 

Whether you’re a horse enthusiast or looking for a fun day out, come and experience the electric atmosphere of reining at its best.
